Calmness and Serenity

An Oceanfront Mansion Undergoes a Spectacular Renovation

A large house on the beach with palm trees.

This ocean estate is directly located at the inlet on two-home sites.

Our complete renovation of the home includes interior and exterior updates. Our clients requested a combination of contemporary and traditional elements, with a color scheme of blues, white and platinum.

VIEW PROJECT

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Aerial View
Magnificent ocean-front estate fully renovated by Collective Construction and Design, Inc.

Family Room
The custom wall unit in a metallic grey finish is placed adjacent to the vast ocean views beyond. It offers contrast to the rift-cut oak and iron cocktail table and grey leather sofas to create layers of luxury. The entire estate is wired as a smart home.

Living Room
The Stark area rug adds texture and grounds the furnishings and grand piano. The tête-à-tête is a relaxing furniture piece on which to gaze out to the inlet and linger in conversation. The combination of patterns, colors, and finishes creates the backdrop for everyday elegance.

Formal Dining Room
Sheers diffuse the neighboring view and are anchored by grey linen embroidered panels. White leather chairs surround the charcoal and polished nickel dining table.

Main Kitchen
The all-new kitchen with professional-grade appliances is the center of the main home. The blue and green quartzite slabs reference the sea just outside.

Entry to Master Suite
The 36-foot high oculus is the dramatic entry to the private master suite. A new color scheme, simple panels on pegs and silver leafed crystal chandelier creates the updated classic style. The oculus chandelier is finished in silver leaf with six feet of Crystal beaded chains.

Master Bedroom
This expansive master suite provides ample space for privacy and profound relaxation. The floor plan was simplified, removing awkward angles while allowing stunning ocean views. At the client’s request, Collective installed white natural quartzite cladding, with a gas ribbon fireplace and TV above. The natural wood floor is dark grey maple, contrasting beautifully with a wool area rug by Stark.

His Closet and Bath
The cabinetry in his bath and closet is cashmere grey hand-glazed with conversion polyurethane. Dolomite marble is specified throughout. The custom millwork is topped with pure white and Petra grey quartz slabs.

Her Bath
New impact glass windows open to the ocean view. A steam shower, hand held, body sprays, and a rain head create a home spa ambiance. Grey hand-glazed cashmere cabinetry with conversion polyurethane adds soft contrast to the white and grey Dolomite marble.

Loggia
This immense covered outdoor area has been clad with select smooth cypress stained and full-grain filled with urethane. We installed 3,900 sq ft of the cypress to add dimension to the home.

Front Elevation
The elegant estate is now wearing a custom blended roof with copper flashing, LED lights, and new paint. Upgrades include weather resistant faux wood finishes on the garage and entry doors. New bronze impact glass windows and doors will add further depth and drama to the home.
