Family Room – Custom sectionals, a wall-sized mural, and a room-width floating oak unit are just a few of the design elements and architectural details that designer Eloise Kubli employs to create this one-of-a-kind family room.

In this large open concept family room, custom sectionals with chaises face each other, creating a balanced and inviting layout. Designer Eloise Kubli notes, “My client requested durable leathers and fabrics, allowing me to craft a rich interplay of textures and furnishings.“ The variety of materials, combined with the placement of the floating sectionals and leather and fabric swivel chairs, enhances the room’s coziness while maintaining a sophisticated look. The use of stylish and durable materials not only updates the space but also provides ample room for relaxation.
A full-size custom mural covers the focal wall. Beneath the large screen television, a large floating unit made of umber oak spans nearly the width of the room. Wood beams above add further architectural interest.
Complementing the beams overhead is a striking 72″ long abstract linear chandelier, crafted in black iron and finished with LED crystal ends. The chandelier’s modern, geometric design offers a sleek counterpoint to the traditional warmth of the wood beams, drawing the eye upward and adding a touch of elegance.
Wide sliding doors lead to a marble deck and fully equipped outdoor kitchen. The space blends contemporary aesthetics with classic materials, resulting in a sophisticated and inviting family space and a wonderful area for relaxing and entertaining.
