Las Olas Office Redesign | Collaborative Space

Eloise Kubli ASID Commissioned to Redesign a Historic South Florida Office/em>

“I created open, collaborative workspaces that include a touch of fun, all the while preserving the historic Dade County pine ceiling beams, painted white brick walls, and flooring,”says designer Eloise Kubli ASID.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Eloise Kubli, ASID was commissioned to redesign this office space located in a historic office building, with the goal of creating an open workspace for younger employees while preserving the original architectural features. The designer was asked not to alter the existing finishes due to the client’s long-term lease in one of South Florida’s oldest office spaces. The project goal was to create open, collaborative workspaces that included a touch of fun, all the while preserving the Dade County pine ceiling beams, painted white brick walls, and flooring (including the grey carpeting). The project included furnishing the spacious area that serves as a meeting room, an adjoining conference room, and the private office for the owner with contemporary and durable furniture.

Seating options include a laminate workstation and a creative exchange zone with deep club chairs. Colorful graphics and blueberry chairs brighten the space, while live plants enhance creativity and air quality.

VIEW PROJECT

Space for Ideas | Collaboration & Work Zones
A vibrant collaboration zone defined by colorful graphics, sculptural shapes, and signature blueberry chairs. The layered palette and playful forms energize the space, while integrated greenery enhances both creativity and air quality.

Flexible seating supports a range of workstyles—from a clean-lined laminate workstation to a more relaxed creative exchange area with deep club chairs. Pops of color and natural elements create a balanced environment that feels both productive and inviting.

Main Office (View A)
Upon entry, the office opens into an expansive, light-filled space anchored by a two-sided lounge and standing-height worktable—designed for both casual collaboration and quick touchpoints.

The main workspace blends functionality with comfort, featuring a central two-sided lounge, standing-height worktable, and a bar cart offering water and spirits. Surrounding zones—including a workstation and lounge seating—support both focused work and informal interaction.

Main Office (View B)
A secondary perspective of the open office highlights the flow of the space, with the two-sided lounge and standing-height worktable serving as a central hub for movement and connection.

Private Office
A refined, multi-functional space that serves as both the owner’s office and a private meeting room. Outfitted with contemporary, durable furnishings, it balances professionalism with comfort.

Conference Room
Rock the Conference
A reimagined meeting space designed to inspire. The conference table converts into a ping pong surface, while high-back swivel seating creates a more intimate breakout area. Wall-mounted guitars introduce a playful, creative edge—encouraging moments of connection beyond the meeting.

Create & Collaborate
A thoughtfully designed smaller meeting area that encourages quick, informal conversations. Comfortable seating and a sense of separation offer just enough privacy without disconnecting from the energy of the office.
