“Over 20 years ago, I established a relationship with my clients, a connection built on trust and mutual appreciation for design excellence. When it was determined the home needed a complete renovation, they entrusted me with the task of transforming it. I was commissioned to specify all finishes, design details, and furnishings to create a harmonious aesthetic both inside and out,” says interior desinger Eloise Kubli. “The visual impact of this renovation begins at the foyer, setting the tone for the entire home.”
Foyer
This elevated, welcoming space is anchored by an impressive console finished in taupe and antique brass. The console serves as the focal point, drawing attention with its sleek lines and sophisticated finish.
Above the console, four clear organic glass beveled mirrors reflect the carefully curated art on the opposite wall and the crystal and gold chandelier suspended from the ceiling, enhancing the sense of space and light. The mirrors’ placement is strategic, creating visual drama in the entryway.
Two tall selenite console lamps stand atop the console, their crystalline structures adding elegance and luminosity. The lamps illuminate the space and anchor the bonsai in brass. “The bonsai is a symbol of peace and beauty that welcomes guests into the home,” says the designer.

Living Room
The living room is a centerpiece of the home, featuring a linear gas fireplace that serves as a dramatic focal point. The fireplace is adorned with four stunning book-matched “OMG” marble slabs, wrapped floor to 22-foot ceiling in white oak. This striking feature creates a sense of grandeur and sophistication, seamlessly integrating into the architectural space.
Two curved sofas surround a 60-inch diameter cocktail table, providing a cozy seating area that fosters intimate conversations. The arrangement creates a complementary relationship with the large architectural space, balancing the room’s grandeur with an intimate and comfortable ambiance.

Living Room & Stairway
The sweeping spiral staircase with glass-wrapped panels is lit from above by a large crystal and gold-dipped chandelier. “Upstairs in the loft, you can see the pool and the Intracoastal,” says Kubli, “and the views are spectacular!”
Echoing the circular design of the staircase, a custom bar finished in grey stain adds a sophisticated touch. Past the staircase and the bar, the space opens into an expansive chef’s kitchen and a family room, providing a spacious and comfortable area for cooking and gathering.

Dining Room
Situated between the foyer and the living room, the dining room serves as a pivotal space for both casual and formal gatherings. Simple drapery panels with tape trim are suspended from antique brass pegs, framing the view of the tropical lot across the street, where a large boat dock is often used for entertaining.
Above the table, two chandeliers featuring various textures of glass flowers hang through a LED ring, casting a soft, inviting light and adding an element of artistic elegance to the room. Four sconces, coordinated with the gold leaf finish and alabaster, further enhance the room’s sophisticated ambiance, providing additional layers of light and luxury.

Kitchen Island
“Working within the existing structure I added a large island, using quartzite as the focal point of the kitchen,” says interior designer Eloise Kubli. Functioning as the main area for meal preparation, the installation also includes ample counter height seating. Italian Murano blown pendants with antique brass light cylinders are suspended from the ceiling above, gracefully illuminating the counter and surrounding area.

Custom Chef’s Kitchen
“All of the professional appliances have panels to blend with the pantry and cabinetry doors,,” Kubli explains. A custom laser-cut backsplash fabricated from Carrara marble and antique brass is a luxurious touch that provides a beautiful backdrop.

Butler’s Pantry
Adjacent to both the kitchen and dining room, this pantry provides ample prep space for caterers to work. Access to this space from the dining room is via a newly installed barn door, not pictured.
The antique brass chevron backsplash is a continuation of the kitchen finishes, as is the hardware. Similarly, the pantry cabinetry is finished in the same frost white shade as that of the millwork in the kitchen.
The space includes a large amount of dry storage space as well as two roomy Sub-Zero wine columns offer abundant temperature- and humidity-controlled storage for vintage wines.

Master Bedroom Suite
Large nightstands in platinum with thick glass inset tops flank the bed, providing ample space for the natural alabaster lamps that add a warm light to the room.
The walls are adorned with hand-placed ombré metallic pewter and gold leaf wallpaper, which serves as a luxurious backdrop for the king panel bed upholstered in Ivory suede. The luxury bedding is custom “Callisto Home”.
