Master bedroom as a sooting retreat.
A Swaim bed covered in quilted silk, satin and velvet imbues luxury into the soothing master bedroom, where wood stools are hand applied with gold leaf and maple-wood bedside tables house seeded hand-blown glass lamps by John-Richard with shades embroidered with copper-colored sequins. A chenille love seat and ottoman create a cozy sitting area.

Upstairs, the designer turned the large master bedroom into a soothing retreat using luxurious fabrics of mohair, silk, satin and velvet. In an alcove of the room sits a chenille love seat and ottoman that create a cozy sitting area. Embroidered silk drapery fabric and plush area rugs add texture. Sophisticated yet relaxing, what started as a spec home turned into a casually elegant home that feels as if it were truly made for its owners. ■
