FAMILY FRIENDLY DESIGN
A comfortably designed space for family and friends

This family-friendly residence embraces its open floor plan, allowing natural light and architectural flow to guide every design decision. In the living room, a custom ribbon-and-plate art-glass installation by MAC Art spans three angular walls, introducing movement and dimension across from the 22-foot gas fireplace façade. The piece interacts beautifully with the changing light, balancing the vertical scale of the room. Oversized velvet chairs gather around a sculptural wood-and-metal cocktail table, grounded by a custom rug and soft drapery. Above, a Hubbardton Forge chandelier in iron and blown glass draws the eye upward while reinforcing the artisan quality woven throughout the home.
In the adjoining large, open-concept family room, custom sectionals with chaises face each other to create a relaxed and welcoming layout. Designer Eloise Kubli notes, “My client requested durable leathers and fabrics, allowing me to craft a rich interplay of textures and furnishings.” This layered materiality—paired with floating sectionals and leather-and-fabric swivel chairs—enhances the room’s coziness while maintaining a refined aesthetic.
A full-size mural spans the focal wall, with a floating umber-oak unit below the television providing warmth and scale. Overhead, wood beams introduce architectural interest, complemented by a 72-inch abstract linear chandelier crafted in black iron with LED crystal ends. The balance of modern geometry and natural materials ties the entire space together.
Wide sliding doors connect the interior to a marble deck and fully equipped outdoor kitchen, reinforcing the home’s commitment to effortless entertaining and family-centered living. The result is a series of spaces that feel inviting, artful, comfortable—and beautifully aligned with the rhythms of everyday life.

“My client requested durable leathers and fabrics, giving me the opportunity to create a rich interplay of textures and furnishings.”
